If you're looking for ways to earn extra cash online, you may have heard of GPT sites like Freecash.com. GPT sites are online platforms that allow you to complete a variety of tasks in exchange for rewards, which can come in the form of cash, gift cards, or prizes.
We understand the urgency of building your emergency fund, and on the surface, FreeCash looks and sounds like a legit option. Still, we wanted to confirm it independently.
To do this, we checked their official site, looked into the company background, and read dozens of real user reviews across several platforms, and compiled our findings in this article.

FreeSkins.com: The Basics
First things first: yes, FreeSkins.com and FreeCash.com are the same. They rebranded in August 2021 to better reflect their expanded services.
Before the rebranding, FreeSkins.com was focused on gamers. They gave gamers a way to earn free skins that they could use in games like Fortnite, PUBG, and CS:GO.
Later on, they expanded their rewards beyond skins to include a wider range of options like gift cards, PayPal cash, and even cryptocurrency. They also decided to open their platform to everyone, not just gamers. FreeCash.com was born.
Now that we've cleared that up, let's take a closer look at what this site is all about:
Who owns FreeCash?
According to their Terms of Service, FreeCash “is owned and operated by Almedia UG.”
Their address (Arnstädter Str. 50 99096, Erfurt, Thüringen, Germany) is registered on Google, where they're listed as an “advertising agency.” We also found that they were recently hiring for a full-time app developer to work on FreeCash.
This tells us a couple of things: that the company is real and that they're continuing to invest in their platform.
How does FreeCash make money?
Like most GPT sites, FreeCash makes money through ad revenue. Companies pay them to display ads and surveys on their platform, and they pass a portion of that revenue on to users who complete those tasks.
It's both a legit and lucrative business model. For instance, Swagbucks, one of the oldest GPT sites, has paid out over $400,000,000 to its users since it launched over a decade ago. FreeCash itself has already paid out $12,000,000 since 2020.
Who can sign up for FreeCash?
FreeCash.com is available worldwide, and anyone over the age of 13 can create an account. If you're under 18, you'll need parental consent to sign up.
Is FreeCash legit?
To confirm their legitimacy some more, we also looked into their social media presence. They're active on both Facebook and Twitter, where they frequently post updates and respond to user queries.
They also have an “Excellent” standing on TrustPilot, with a 4.6/5 star rating out of 17,881 user reviews. We saw some scam accusations on Quora and Reddit, but several users were quick to shut those down.
Overall, we can confirm that FreeCash is legit and not a scam.
How to earn money on FreeCash (FreeSkins)
FreeCash partners with market research companies and advertisers, so there are tons of tasks you can complete to earn money.
FreeCash Offerwalls
First, you have the offerwalls. If you're not familiar with the concept, they're basically ads within FreeCash that promote other websites and apps.
They're called “offer walls” because you need to complete a task to bring down that wall and claim your rewards. Common tasks include:
- Answering a quiz
- Downloading an app on your phone
- Watching a video ad
- Rating a website
- Signing up for a free trial
- Playing a game
You can get them done in a couple of minutes, and there's no limit to how many you can complete per day.
The rewards on these offerwalls usually pay anywhere from $0.10 to $1.00, but we also saw some pretty high-paying ones like these:
- Play a game and reach Level 17 = Get $100
- Sign up for a finance app and deposit $10 = Get $80
Naturally, these high-ticket tasks are a little harder to complete, but they're definitely worth your while if you can manage them.
FreeCash Surveys
The bread and butter of GPT sites, you can also make money by taking surveys on FreeCash. These are from some of the most popular market research companies like MySurvey, Toluna, and YouGov.
Before you can take surveys, you'll need to fill out your profile so that they know which ones you're eligible for.
This usually takes 5-10 minutes, and you'll get rewarded with $0.50 for doing it.
After that, you can start taking surveys and earn anywhere from $0.50 to $5.00 and even as much as $150 for niche surveys.
The number of surveys you can take each day will depend on your demographics, but we saw that most users could take at least 2-3 per day.
FreeCash Games
You can also earn money by playing games on FreeCash. The harder the target (e.g., reaching Level 10 of a game or getting the top spot), the bigger the reward.
Some games will even give you a small amount just for playing, regardless of whether you meet the target or not. These games are from partner app developers, and they're a great way to try out new apps while earning a little extra cash.
FreeCash Referrals
Next, you can also earn points just for inviting your friends to join FreeCash. For every friend that signs up using your referral link, you'll earn 5% of their lifetime earnings. Your friend will also receive 100 points as a welcome bonus.
On top of that, FreeCash also has a rewards program for affiliates (aka users who refer new users). The more successful referrals you make, the higher you go up the Daily Bonus Ladder.
FreeCash Leaderboards
As an incentive for active users, FreeCash also has a leaderboard where the day's best earners are ranked. The prizes for these vary, but usually, the top 250 earners will get a share of the day's pot.

To withdraw your earnings, simply go to the ‘Rewards' section and choose your preferred payout method.
The minimum payout threshold is reasonable, too. You only need 5, 000 points ($5) to convert your coins to gift cards or PayPal cash. If you want to convert your coins to Bitcoin or other crypto, you only need $0.20 worth of FreeCash coins. Daily withdrawals are capped at 50,000 points.
Generally, it only takes 15 to 20 minutes to process withdrawals, then 24 hours for the transaction to go through. For PayPal and cryptocurrency payouts, it may take longer because of the extra security measures.
