Based on our research, you can’t send or receive money from Zelle to Cash App or the other way around. However, even though you can’t directly make money transfers between these two digital payment platforms, there’s a workaround that you can follow.

Zelle doesn't have a digital wallet and all payments that you make through Zelle are moved directly from the bank account that's linked to Zelle.

This means that when you send money from Zelle, you'll be transferring money from your bank account directly, albeit through Zelle's services.

While Cash App is a digital wallet facility, it isn't listed as a bank that you can transfer money to through Zelle.

So to move money from Zelle to Cash App, you'll basically need to link the same bank in both Zelle and Cash App.

It’s safer than writing a check because you don’t have to reveal your routing number and bank account number to the person who’s receiving the funds. However, you need to be careful and make sure that you’re transferring funds to the right person.

You may have to enable additional protective measures such as text or email verification, QR-code scanning, etc.
